Importance of life - The Last Lecture 2 Years ago Karma: 7
So I just finished reading "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch. I rarely spend several hours reading a book, but this one was different. I read the whole thing in one day. Randy had so many good points and all of them made me think about the world and think about my own life as well.

For those of you that are not familiar with the book, it is by a professor at Carnegie Mellon diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and only given a few months to live. Unfortunately he just passed away a couple days ago on July 25th, 2008. He did give everyone a wonderful lecture before he passed!

I highly recommend the book to everyone. It really puts a lot in perspective. It makes me think about what is important in my life. What is worth spending time on and what is not. It also made me think about the importance of love and family and so much more.

Has anyone else read it? What did you take from it?
