I have been at my current company for 2 years now. The job is ok, I am not micro-mananged and the money is ok. I certainly do not love what I am doing, but I have no passion for it and am more or less just putting up with it.

My ultimate goal is to be in business for myself and I am making a lot of moves to see that happen, but I know it is probably still a couple years off.

The new position is really good career wise and would put me a senior level position. I would be taking home about $1,000 more a month than I am now.

The only thing holding me back is that I would be working from home and I would have a lot more responsibility. Not that responsibility scares me, I just want to make sure I still have enough time to concentrate on getting my own companies off the ground.

Some would argue I would have more time because I am working from home - who knows?

I would love some advice on what you all think I should do...

Personally, I would take the job.
1. It would give you more experience that you can use on your business when you get that started.
2. It would give you more funds to start your next business
3. You would get a lot more work done at home, and would save time & money from not having to commute to work.

All of these factors would help you out when you are ready to start your business. Hope this helps!
