Are crafts a solo thing or group activity? 2 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 2
I would like to get into crafting. I'm really not sure what to get into - making jewelery, cards, what else is there?

Do most people do these as a group or solo? I think it would be neat to get the girls together and do this.

Crafts can be done solo or with other people and even both. It really just depends on what you're looking to do and if you'd rather do it with other people.

I used to make candles. I'd buy the slabs of wax, the wicks, jars, scents, dyes, etc and I would make them from scratch and decorate the jars. It's fun and everyone loves candles. I used to give them away as gifts.

I know people who do scrapbooking. That's a big thing.

If you want to get the girls together, making jewelry seems like a fun thing to do with a group because you can see what each other is creating and you can inspire each other with ideas.

You should go to Michael's or whatever craft store is in your area and see what classes they provide. You might enjoy taking a class one saturday on scrapbooking or painting or something.

I have a friend who does quilting and she's amazing at it. She does it by herself but also gets together with friends to do quilting together and to teach each other new techniques and stuff. She's met a lot of her friends that way.

Good luck.

It depends on what you're doing. Crafts can be anything you want. Solo is fine but group can also be fun. It might be a nice bonding thing for friends and loved ones.
