With the housing market like it is today, I am interested more than ever in buying a house. I looked into it a few years ago, and was dissuaded by the upfront money I was required to have in order to buy one. I can't remember exactly what the money was for though-- in addition to a down payment, there were other fees I needed funds for right away. Can someone give me an idea of what I need to have on hand in order to purchase a home?
